MT. MALIPUNYO (MT. MALARAYAT) to MT. MANABU
Brgy. Talisay, Lipa City 1005 MASL
Minor climb, Difficulty 3/9, Trail class 2-3
"The Never Ending Loop!"
It starts with our liking of Traversing Mountains and ended up choosing this one for it has a never ending crazy loops. Malarayat Range has 3 destination, Mt. Susong Dalaga, Malipunyo the highest peak and Mt. Manabu. This mountain range consist of 7 peaks passing by the Forest, Woodlands, Forested areas and grassy part near Manabu.
The most typical Dayhikes here is to traverse the Malinpunyo to Manabu, maybe if we came a little bit early we might conquered Susong Dalaga too unfortunately we all came late from the original call time 3:00am so the supposedly (Susong Dalaga>Malinpunyo>Manabu) ended up with Malipunyo to Manabu only. Susong Dalaga is quite intimidating, you can see her peak around you while traversing.

Trip Note:
Our contact person is Kuya Mario, got his latest no. from my Mountaineer friend who came a week earlier than us with his group. Kuya Mario is their most popular tour guide, he was featured once in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, he claimed to be the one who creates the "Butas" or trail in that mountain and according to him the Guides are getting fewer because of intolerable Cold temperature in Malipunyo Summit during Overnight. So before you climb make sure you have a Contact/Guide or you may contact him so that he can arrange one for you.
